Data Unification Strategies

The Unification Techniques ensure a consistent and comprehensive user profile across multiple platforms, enabling seamless user experience and data integration. This can be achieved through various methods, each serving to identify and link a user's interactions across different partners securely

1. Universal ID Connection (Primary Method)

This is the primary method. When a user connects their UID across platforms, their data is unified automatically, ensuring seamless sharing.

  • Users connect their UID across partner platforms
  • Creates a unified digital identity
  • Enables automatic mapping of user data across platforms
  • Maintains user privacy and consent management

2. Alternative Unification Methods

When a direct UID connection isn't available, we employ additional high-confidence identifiers:

Email Address Matching

If an email address exists, it can serve as an additional identifier for unification. If no UID is present, we create an entity for the email address and assign a new UID to represent it. If it already exists, the email is linked to the UID.

  • Identifies matching email addresses across platforms
  • Creates or links to existing UIDs
  • Employs fuzzy matching for variations (e.g., gmail.com vs googlemail.com)

Phone Number Matching

Phone numbers can be used similarly to emails for identification and unification purposes.

  • Normalizes and matches phone numbers across platforms
  • Creates or links to existing UIDs
  • Handles international formats and variations

Composite Matching

  • Combines multiple identifiers for higher confidence matching
  • Prevents false positives while maximizing successful matches
